The congregation of Warman Mennonite Church is praying for a shepherd to come walk with us on our faith journey. We are a congregation of 40 members and attendees who focus on building relationships with each other and within the community of Warman, Saskatchewan. The city of Warman is a thriving community of 14,000 residents, located 10 minutes from Saskatoon.
We are looking for a half-time (0.5 FTE) pastor-shepherd who will tend the relationships of our congregation, alongside speaking 2-3 times per month, providing pastoral care, taking part in congregational leadership and being a point of contact for administrative information.
Our congregation is a witness to God's faith in us through our mission close to home and extending further afield. In 2024 we celebrate 40 years of community partnership with Happy Tots Preschool in our church building. We also heed God's call to feed the hungry by supporting the Warman Food Bank. We also support the Teen Challenge Prairie Hope Women's Centre in the nearby Hague area, as well as missionaries around the world.
Visitors who join us in Sunday morning worship comment on the warmth of our hospitality and the joy of singing together. Each Sunday we seek God's guidance through mining the depths of Scripture brought to light by a host of professional and lay speakers. We support each other and celebrate God's blessings in sharing and prayer time. A 5-minute focus allows for special attention to a particular topic. And our monthly potlucks are a highlight, where we share God's goodness during a meal.
Inquiries can be sent via Josh Wallace at the Mennonite Church Saskatchewan office,
